Quality of Clinical Care
With the help of Satellite and its own Director of Clinical Operations from the US. ARC offers superior clinical care in Asia in several areas:
Policies and Procedures
ARC utilizes detailed policies and procedures in its centers to ensure consistent clinical quality and safety. These are based on international guidelines that have been tailored to meet each country’s environment. ARC updates these policies and procedures regularly as new techniques are developed.
Training and Education
To keep its medical personal up-to-date with the latest clinical and technical matters, ARC coordinates staff training and development programs in Asia and the United States. In addition, the Company prepares educational programs and materials for ESRD patients in Asia on renal nutrition and other topics.
Computer-based CIS/CQI system
The CIS includes a computer database of core clinical information (such as patient information, treatment results and laboratory data) that are analyzed on a monthly basis to identify trends and potential areas of improvement.
Once an area of improvement is identified, a CQI task force analyzes the issue, develops an action plan and makes the necessary improvements. This CIS/CQI system is at the heart of ARC’s clinical quality program.
